Aurora Trip to Norway

From 29.1. to 5.2.2022, together with my colleague Stefan Seip and tour guide Guido Pinkau, I accompanied a group of “Studiosi” to observe and photograph the famous Northern Lights in Norway. After two days in Tromsø with a visit to the northernmost planetarium on earth, we went to the Vesteraalen, where the Andoya Space Centre is located. The centre is dedicated to researching the aurora borealis, or polar lights. Through my professional contact with the Space Center in Andenes, we had the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of the research of the magical light of the North.

Here is a small selection of pictures from the week on the topics “Northern Lights”, “Landscape in Daylight” and “Andoya Space Center”.
