Mission X 2023

“Mission X – Train Like an Astronaut” started its thirteen year, organised again this year by ESERO Austria.

Mission X – Train Like an Astronaut is an international competition for schools that will be held for the thirteen time in 2022/23. For Mission X, the European Space Agency (ESA) has developed a series of exercises that teach children about space knowledge, exercise, sports and the importance of healthy nutrition in daily life. The active phase of the project takes place in schools (classroom, gym, etc.) from January to May 2023. The exercises (missions) show the children how astronauts exercise and what their fitness programme looks like. In recent years, more than 7000 Austrian schoolchildren and 350 schools have already successfully participated in the competition.
