Namibia – Fascination of the Southern Sky

Finally back in the south of Africa! From 20.8. to 1.9.2022 our Windrose study group was on the road in Namibia. The itinerary leads from the Gamsberg over the Namib Desert to the dunes of Sossusvlei, further to Kiripotib in the Kalahari, to the Etosha National Park and via the largest meteorite on earth, the Hoba Meteorite, back to Windhoek. The view to the sky is always paired with glimpses into the endless expanses and fascinating colors of the country.
